Cosmetically the keyboard is like new, pulled from a working PowerBook torn down for parts because of damage elsewhere to the laptop, so assume it will function to your expectations. A USEFUL TIP: If you are changing out the keyboard yourself, be advised that in addition to the two screws that secure the keyboard located under the Function keys, the keyboard is ALSO secured by a screw from underneath it, which can be accessed through the compartment that holds the expansion memory underneath the laptop.
